Buhl Mediation and Anne Buhl

"I was able to help resolve conflicts during my employment in Aarhus Municipality in 1999/2000, where I worked, for example, with fence boundary cases. Mediation proved to be an effective means of getting neighbors to diffuse escalated conflicts regarding the placement of fences and trees.

I realized that I could do something special here!

Both before and after my employment with Aarhus Municipality, I worked as a lawyer and an attorney. My specialties were contracts, processes, contract law, trades and shortages in real estate.

I was trained as a mediator in 2003 at The Danish Bar and Law Society's Mediator Training. After that, I mediated a large number of cases in the context of lawsuits.

In 2006, I chose to leave the legal profession to gain experience from "real life". For the next 9 years, I worked as a manager in private and public companies, and was in the top management team during the establishment of a company from scratch.

Mediation, prevention and management of conflicts throughout my career have been an important part of my work.

In 2014, I was given the opportunity to realize my dream of starting my own business solely with business mediation as a field of work, and here I am now ... "

Buhl Mediation was established on 1 October 2014.

The company consists of business mediator Anne Buhl, a student assistant and a part-time consultant.

The company has a number of other partners who are teamed up as needed.

These include a co-mediator with other skills, an accountant, a lawyer (counselling and production of documents, or others).

Finally, Buhl Mediation cooperates with VIA University College, Aarhus University, and The Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board.

Buhl Mediation works in Danish, English and German.
